Soundproofing will be a good start since the Accent has almost non-existent soundproofing.

agreed with david. nowadays, it is not safe to install it on the car. many thief will target it and steal it.

i've seem many car fitted with it, especially those luxury MPV. some even installed on the front passenger side. kinda distraction to the driver.

Not safe one. Few months ago, my coins in the car was stolen too.

It is actually illegal to install LCD screen on the front, but ok to do so for the rear passengers.

Halo...
Ya.. Pioneer is a good choice..
I got my DEH-4850MPH installed few months back. Got it from a guy call Bryan from ZTH with RM499.(I dont know how he got it, but so far the player is working fine)
Since I am no expert in installing this player, I paid another RM25 for installation in one of the shop.
I tuned the audio, bass etc etc manually and surprisingly, our stock speakers are good enough for good audio effect, except for the vibration sound from the speaker's plastic cover behind if the bass is too high :p
It is single din, plays CD and MP3

Maybe some SIFU can help me to further fine tune my audio during TT :p

i can fine tune for u, ive done that on lotsa other members car...of cos pure sound experience will cost.

adding a HU only improves quality of cd when read. adding tweeter, component, active/passive crossover, mid bass, subwoofer, centerspeaker and etc will really give u the difference. of cos, brand and quality plays a part of it. then sound dampening and sound proofing must have for ultimate experience.

i myself fine tune my audio and added a subwoofer, single 10" in my ride. definitely sounds better as u can feel the bass. so subs run on a 400W amp. everything cost roughly rm900+\- lar...

if u guys want more songs, do it like me...plug an ipod or mp3 player. ive got my 20GB ipod to listen to....hee hee hee *evil grin*
next audio acc i plan to invest :
