I know there's not much of parts cater for Accent, thus anyone knows where to get the pipe for the filter? and how much the pipe gonna cost?

p/s: rivaldo, u driving RX-S? without the air-scoop?

Yes i am the one driving RX-S without the air-scoop. Laughing

Anyway, still dun get it why A/T can't use Open POD.. Confused
Wht i know is, Open POD get cool air. And cool air is better than Hot air for better power when burns in combustion chamber.

Of coz M/T will be more pick up than A/T. But compare A/T with Open POD and A/T without Open POD, for sure A/T with Open POD will get more power right?

rivaldo, did u took out the air-scoop urself or u never had it installed on your Accent when u received ur car? If u hav remove the air-scoop after receiving the car, mind sharing how did u got it off and how much did it cost u? Rolling Eyes

Haha, i order the SA to not putting in the air-scoop before hand. Thus, if you wanna have nice and without the screw on your bonet, get a new bonet to replace it. lol Laughing

Eh, this is the Open POD room, should not talk more on this. haha.
Anything you can PM me. Wink

about the AT with open pod filters. I heard from the car mod shop that our AT accent if want to use it, can also. But it will lag. He says drop in will be good enough adi. Unless you mod more than air filters only....

Dont know if it's true or not.

hmmm... instead of using open pod air filter, i rather want to get a better air hose to replace the ugly and maze-like air box.

totally agree with u... dunno y most car manufacturer will design such "complicated" maze-like air box... doesn't it make the air harder to go thru? and the "mouth" of the plastic hose is facing the side-wall of the fender... Mad

there is only one reason i think of this, the maze type hose suppose to trap rubbish, stones etc... and the facing side ways to avoid big objects... but i also annoyed that our car already had the gasket infront to block all those... hmm... maybe serve as protection to accidents?

Have any good performance workshop to recommend? or RM 500 is reasonable?
