They use one panel thingy (Jln 223 SC). Hook it to a port under the stering wheel. Then they press press here and press press there. To check the air flow intake, battery power (on off lights and on off air-con).

I watch them do it. Then they tell me that my battery are still good.

So like that lor. How? Should I be getting a new battery??

ok, another tips from marky, he told me that whether we know the condition of our battery when we filling in battery fluid.

on the battery, we notice there is a positive and negative charge portion. whenever we trying to fill in the first and last chamber of battery fluid, it seems like the fluid always goes into other chamber in between and takes long time to fill in to full.

i am not too sure as I never encounter this before. need further verification. maybe when marky is free, he can explain better than me. Idea

there is another way to know the car battery is in good health is using this car ionizer.

Quote:
A 2-in-1 Revolutionary Product!
Electronically generates negative ions into the atmosphere to trap and eliminate airborne pollutants like dust and tobacco smoke in your car.
This high performance unit provides maximum dispersion of negative ions which revitalises stale air, creating a refreshing and comfortable in-car atmosphere.
The Car Battery Voltage Indicator is an early warning system.
Battery is in GOOD Condition
When Ignition Key is turned-on, All LED lighted (except charging LED). When Car Engine is running, charging LED will light up (car alternator is working).
Battery in DETERIORATING Condition
When Ignition Key is Turned-On,
- ALERT LED is lighted: indicates battery has insufficient charge (condition deteriorating).
- WEAK LED is lighted: indicates battery is retaining a LOW charge (battery may fail soon).
- VERY WEAK LED is lighted: indicates battery has almost lost all charge.
- BAD LED is lighted: battery has failed

Size : 164.5 x 87 x 41 mm
Input : 12 volt
Capacity : 5000 VDC
Ionizer pins : 12 pins

So i think this is a good buy also for me. The price is RM133 compared with hyundai's car ionizer which is RM300++

Me will get one soon. Razz

if i am not forgetting, its using the cigarettes port. but i was thinking to do some wiring so that when someone wanted to smoke inside the car, i dun have to turn off the ionizer... or... perhaps... maybe this will discourage people to smoke inside the car? hahahahaha...

anyway, if anyone interested, please PM me for orders.

my replacement is NS65 i think. I got it from Section 17, PJ. The brand is Yuasa, European standard, price is RM190, comes with a hose to prevent battery water overflow that flush under the car.
