if you want fast service and dont need to wait so long, you can always go to Osaga or Jinmin Auto. they are authorised service dealer... but service is fast.

in KBSC, sometimes just change the engine oil and oil filter - takes me 2 hours for it... sometimes 3 hours to 1/2 day. wasting time.

If we use ELF FS, we can use 10K km then only service. How about every 5k service at KBSC? Is it just change oil filter and some check points?

you dont need to use ELF SS. just change directly to ELF FS. what you can is perform an engine flush... wait till it completely drain out and then pour in the ELF FS. you can see the different... trust me.

you still need to change the oil filter every 5,000km for safety precaution. just send your car to them and ask them to change oil filter will do. beware - change from authorised dealer - cheaper than KBSC.

yes, i encounter it before when sending my car to KBSC @ Jln 223 there...

just change the oil filter and nothing much... they charge me more than RM60 for labour cost... then i check, nothing much they doing... and simply charge.

btw, when changing oil filter, u need to topped up around 0.5 litre to engine... as oil filter can hold around 0.5 litre of oil... Very Happy

hi all brothers,

I also planning on using Elf engine oil for my 2nd service. Please advice whether I need to use SS or FS? I live in Kajang, anywhere I can find the Elf engine oil nearby?

Btw, I found a website selling Elf engine oil, but don't know still available or not... Razz Razz

I straight away change to ELF FS during 2nd service so cant actually tell the different.

But i think u may browse back few pages where actually others did put their comment there.

Where i buy will PM u then u decide!

By the way, Kah Bintang no longer allow driver to bring their own engine oil. U may need to look for authorised service center instead

I already discussed with PJ Jln 223 Kah Bintang Branch Manager, Sam Chong. He said my request for bringing my own engine can be accepted.
And I hope this can be done for my 2nd service. Very Happy Very Happy
