yah, i heard good review on Motul FS engine oil but is expensive. if you have extra money, then can invest it. otherwise get ELF FS is good enough.

Motul SS n ELF FS which 1 is better ler ?

IMHO, i tink both have Pros n Cons lor altho similar priced....

Motul is designed for racing... tat is high speed revving all d time.... but i dun tink it's designed to be used for say 20,000km, or 6 months... i dun tink any racing team will use any racing oil in their car's engine for more than 1 race... they'l change d oil for d next race immediately....or even after practice or qualifying...just use for fwe hundred KMs...

whereas other in d market FS or SS oil is designed for regular normal driving.... and it's designed to last... but not for racing or high revving all d time... in tis area it wont protect as good as a racing oil.... but for long term, frequent short distance driving, it's better in preventing sludge build-up, etc...

Just my humble opinion la.... David, pls correct me if i'm wrong! Wink

Just after my 1st 1k service, and found that the power are reduce...suspect the engine oil (Castrol Magnetec) is not good as ELF FS.

Can we actually bring our own engine oil for the 2nd service? please advice.

Change to ELF FS Engine oil during 2nd service this week. Yet to see any obvious result. Wait & see after a mth later.

So far the only thing not satisfy abt accent is the engine sound, too loud! Hope will help a bit after engine oil changed.

Everybody talking about ELF FS, so can we bring our own ELF FS to KBSC instead of using the Castrol Magnatec?

you have the right to bring your own engine oil there. just be firm and tell them u r bringing the ELF FS. i think most of them know about it since most of us have been using it...

if they ask why, just said ELF FS is better than Castrol Very Happy

btw, do a full engine flush and let it drip completely before filling in ELF FS. do remind them. then you can see full potential of ELF FS.
