Like u said proton & Hyundai started with Mitshubishi at 1985, now 20 years later both manufacturer quality is much different.
Hmm.. Like that we can put in the Mitshubishi EVO engine for our Accent. Thenbe a road rage.
Anyway, thanks for sharing this info. I never though of this before, will notice it one day.

As usual, plotong is "part and copy" of Mitsu.
Hyundai was part but after sometime, they're on their own. _________________ Best RIDE Ever! Its always with Hyundai. |

Yaloh, proton still much liaise with other manufacturer, don't want to be independent and they still work back their old style without self improvement.
Hyundai is dare to be independent with self improvemrnt after they adopt technology from Mitshubishi for sometimes.

Im not too sure whether can put in EVO engine or not. But according to GHOST statement, our Accent engine mounting is similar with Mitshubishi Lancer. So if it is true, it can be fit into our accent already.

GHOST, you mean that accent really can use EVO engine because of the same engine mounting?? I think its a good news for But it cost a bomb to modify it and might get difficulty to get approval from JPJ.

How about the car body weight and suspension to withhold the engine? I heard that EVO engine can produce 350BHP... dunno how true, sounded impossible. |

By changing to high HP engine, we need to get expert to modify the suspension and braking system to withhold the performance. This mod is required by jpj regulation.
