I test drove the MyVi a couple of weeks ago in Glenmarie and found out that the waiting time for ordering a MyVi is 6 months. The are lots of MyVi around the showroom and the sales agent claims that those cars belong to owners that had ordered them 6 months ago. I really wondered how anyone could wait 6 months for a car, I would have another target in mind by then. These people are really MyVi fanatics!

I have just come across this video I would like to share. Beware that this video is not for the faint hearted and contains brutal and violent images not suitable for below 18s!

Great choice Azman! Hope you are really enjoying the flair of the Accent!.

As for the MyVi, the waiting time is definitely too long. I waited for the Accent for only 1 week and I am getting a bit impatient already... But 6 months!... absolutely a no-no...

Like Azman, some people had even waited for more than 6 months. With such a great demand for the MyVi, I wonder if the massive factory production line for the MyVi will have proper Quality Control checks. Any take on this? But as far as I had learned from other people's view, the QC for Perodua had improve much more than Proton's.

In term of looks YES
In term of power to weight NO (our accent is fitted with lower end engine to suit the local CKD)
In term of fuel consumption NO (Perodua using tech from Daihutsu which is more fuel economical)

Note : Kembara will loose out to all the above to Accent

What about the rigidity and sturdiness of the car? Interior designs? Not to mention the comfort?

Overall, I think accent provides a more complete and attractive package

I test drive MyVi 1.3AT, Gen2 1.6AT & MT and Accent 1.5AT.

And I in love after test drive Accent 1.5 AT and become an Accentian.

MyVi 1.3AT - no power
Gen2 1.6AT - no power
Accent 1.5AT - great power - I can feel it...

I am proud of my car...

Good to hear that
Maybe is due to the add-ons in the RSX version? - MC
