my next service will need to change spark plugs. i still remember the last change was during the 20,000km th service, if the Iridium can last more than 40,000km then its worth to change.

any idea whats the normal spark plug for Accent cost? if the price is more than half of Iridium, then the CBA is positive.

now me is thinking which brand of Iridium to look for. I even come across spark plugs that have silver mounted head. anyone can confirm this?

Ok guys, this morning went to Speedworks and changed to Iridium spark plug. The model I uses is 6ZX-11 from Volker iridium.

Fore more information about Volker iridium, see http://www.volker-iridium.com/

The one on the website recommended 5ZX-11, which is a lower firing temperature point, but after clarification, 6ZX-11 of newer plugs are same since 5 is tested on Germany. So I still keep an eye on the 6ZX-11 to see if any misfiring. I also asked KBSC to tune up the ECU to adopt the new spark plug configurations.

The price is RM60/pcs after discount including labour. I also sourced Euneos and found that they dun have much stock, better get it at Speedworks.

The effect? Well, it was really superb, the acceleration is good, pickup also good. Applause

Checked with the front desk guy in KBSC Penang.

He said they only sell one type of Spark plug. Why PG and KL got difference one? Both also KBSC right? damn...
