Still there are SC that doesn't know what's the difference between SPIII and Dexron III. Price wise, one is 2x more than the other. Gear sensor also can be the problem. If your GB jerks, then better check if you are using the correct ATF grade. Hyundai auto GB uses SPIII. Read your car manual.

Happy motoring.

RM 8k? That's more like replacing the major component of the GB instead of diagnosing what/which part is the cause. Easy for the SC, hard for the user like you.

What ATF oil grade were you using? What intervals did you change the ATF filter? What intervals you do drain-n-fill the ATF old?

hihijnln, knock knock sound when driving? How do you know got the sound? The GB is located at the left front side of the engine compartment. Does the gear change slips when it shift up or down? Does the OBD reader show error codes? When the GB shifts, does the knock sound appears then no more once the gear shifted? Or continous knock knock sound?

Which SC you went? Go for a 2nd/3rd opinion. Try Puchong Osaga or Jimin Sunway. They won't take the easy way out by just asking you to replace GB without troubleshooting properly.

1. I using Original Hyundai ATF oil SP111.
2. The knock sound very loud and I send other private SC checking, They say sound from GB. IS a continous knock knock sound.

Can you give me full address for your recommend?

SC = Osaga Puchong, near Tesco, new the Nissan showroom.

Ball bearing kaput?

Go there for another opinion.

The full address is in the service manual or the car user manual booklet.
