last time when to service my car...
1) change engine oil (using my own oil)
2) flush engine
3) change oil filter
4) adding addictive to fuel system...

total charge me around RM45 for labour...

conclusion, still cheaper than Jln 223 or Jln Ipoh.

hi all Smile

I went to jimin this morning for my 10k 3rd service..the person in-charge told me that the korean engineers are here in KL for another 2-3 weeks time (before CNY), in conjunction of the new sonata cf launched yesterday..to see any feedback/complaints for this new car.

So if u guys have any weird or unsolve problems for your accent, may be can get some help through jimin, they can ask the korean enginner to check ..if jimin can't solve it out themself.

cheers! Smile

Hi samchoo,

are those korean engineers based there at jimin? do the korean engineer check on the cars personally, or they just provide advise?

i think anyone who went to see these engineers, ask them to check and tune the air fuel ratio mapping of our Accent to a localized settings, that will save us RM9XX to do ECU remapping. Razz

Go to KB 223. They have it there. Not bad. But you can get better stuff elsewhere, provided willing to pay more or DIY.

Went to Jinmin Auto to service my 20,000km ...

i was kinda surprise when i debate with them on following issue...

1) ATF Oil - manual said 40,000km and they said change every 20,000km. When i asked them in details, they said if using SP III, then change every 20,000km. If Dexron III, change every 40,000km.

2) Brake Fluid - i was informed that original the car come with DOT3 brake fluid and Jinmin said who said so... is using DOT4. So i kinda argue with them saying DOT3 is red color and DOT4 is white/little bit yellowish color. Then they said DOT3 also got white and etc... long debate on it. So they kinda screw the KB for simply giving wrong info to customer...

In fact, original brake fluid is DOT3 or DOT4?
