I'm also using 195/55/15 and so far no problem. But I also seldom carry many people at the back la. Thinking of going for the 17 incis.. what you guys think? Am I asking for trouble?

That should be ok, but the ride will be quite bumpy. Just stay close to the original rim offset, if not the tyre will hit the fender/sidewall. Also, calculate the total radius size, make sure the size remains not more than 3% of the original size (tyre+rim).

my accent ride fitted with 195/55R15 (original from kah bintang). i didnt see it hit the fender when going over the bump... unless you drive very fast. so far so good. i dont have problem with it.

please check your PCD, should stay within the range. best get PCD100.

I think the best looks vs practicality will be 16" rims...just nice. Not too thin nor too fat bulging looks for the tyres, and slap on MPP2. Nice.

Hi Jimmy,

I think you was choosed the wrong rims for your car. Confused Confused

actually our car can fit in 16 inch rims also no problem ( forget abt fc 1st) , but the proeblm is ........ the RIM's offset (hope i did not spell it wrongly)

you can see this no. on your rim there.
our car Max only can fit in 6.5 offset.
if yours 1 is 7 , most chances will kena the fender.

mostly 15'rims will only use 6.5 but got some very nice look 1 will use offset 7, so you need to be careful on that.

this info i learn from tyre shop. Cool Cool
hope this can help you out.
