Sadly I just changed the brake pad 2 weeks ago during service. They are the original brake pad. If not, I will change them to EBC black brake pad right away. Now have to wait liao. Sad

well, to tell you the truth quahet, i myself never change my stock brake.
anyway, done a bit survey, and some say there is no point getting the one with ~400 degrees because it doesnt really feel different with the stock, so they say get at least with ~500 degrees, then only you can feel the different especially when going down Genting.
some say the brake for >500 degrees is quite cheap, about rm200 - 300 perset, but some say its quite expensive especially for accent, and some even try to sell me about rm350 perset because have to custom made.
i dont know which brand is the best, try your luck and share with us here in the forum , ok. Cool

500 degrees for our car is difficult to find. also can our disc rotor withstand the heat? if overheat the disc rotor will bend in some cases, and other will crack. I also heard some say that. if really want to get >500 degrees brake pad i think disc rotor also have to upgrade. correct me if i am wrong. just want to discuss.

I also experience that before. but once i change to another brake it grips better. i tried on my EBC the other day i went up to bukit tinggi than down to ulu-yam the brake did not kenyang. maybe i didnt brake so much. So far this EBC brake bad oem is quite good. should test its limit. nowadays i can brake later at corner.

I think of changing the rotor, so far only speedworks, kakimotor got. rm 600 if not mistaken. maybe can try if got extra money. Smile

Its oem? or slotted or drilled? If I didnt recall wrongly its normal type. The speedworks one is i think both or slotted dont remember clearly. I also did ask about EBC, its also OEM cost 1k+ to get it in.

Expensive stuff. Do let me know more on the brembo max. thanks
