Hi guys & gals,

Been thinking of upgrading my car braking since long long time ago... but haven't got much action yet... so far only upgrade to stainless steel-braided brake hose...

earlier on i was having the idea of converting the rear drum brakes into disc brakes... but... it would at least cost around few K.....

so now considering to try on changing the stock brake pad to other after market performance brake pad, before really have to undergo the rear disc conversion....

Any recommendation on after market performance brake pads for our Accent?

Any suggesntions, reviews and experience sharing are greatly appreaciated! Wink

well depends on what you looking for, different materials and different temperature rating comes with different price.

PM me if you want some recommendations from me.

I hvnt use, but i already bought it. waiting for my current pad to wear down first. yes its for our Accent model. If not mistaken it can go up to 400 degrees. No sure can our disc rotor withstand the heat beyond 400 degree. hv to find out on that. brake dust no idea. Once i use it I will let you know. Should be soon.

Good day everyone,

I already installed my EBC black oem brake pad to my car. Its feels totally different. The brake is very good indeed, i tested it last night cruising to Penang, Once you brake you can feel ur car instantly being pull back from 110 km/h just normal braking you'll see that the car drop from 110 to 80 to 60 very fast. the brake feel firm. now i step very little already feel the car stopping. Maybe its still new. But as for brake dust not too sure how much it produce..maybe another few days will see the effect. Hope this sharing helps you guy...145 isnt very expensive can give it a try.
