I'm using a Pioneer DEH2850MP. I have 6" Alpine component (plus 1 1/2" tweeter) set at the rear and 5" Titanium audio component (plus 1" tweeter) in front. I have a 12" dual coil Titanium sub-woofer driven by a 800W amp.

My setting is that, all high power output are used to drive my rear and front component speakers. And the RCA output goes to the amp that drives the sub-woofer. I'm not using any pre-out because for me pre-out just wasting out the sound quality from the player.

Overall the setting sounds very very good. But somehow you can hear the voice also from my sub woofer (especially when i open the boot). I admit that my amplifier is a cikai one that it cannot filter the mid and the treble. My mistake to buy cheap amp in the first place. But good amplifier is easily RM500 above!

Any suggestion on how to get around it without using a pre-out? I really dont want to use pre-out since cheap pre-out only adds more noise and reduce the quality. High quality one is always expensive.

Does a low pass crossover exist? Can it be used to filter the signal to the amplifier so that it only produce bass?
