For my case, just right after the warranty period, i sent my car to a workshop at subang, while the mechanic open the door panel, he said, ' wah, this designed, tak boleh pakai lah'. then he modified the design, it seems like no problem till now. already about 3 months..oups..i'm talking bout the central locking system.

i m not sure i hv the same problem (malfunction)...
because i hv been driving my rxs5 for almost one year..
so far it "malfunctioned" only 3 times...
reversing and the warning never sounded...

1st time kena metal barricade in sbg parade parking....
after that never fully trust the sensor...
the other 2 times, reverse until satisfied.. still no sound... check parking, the clear space behind is like 1 ft only...
Sensor suppose to warn when less than 5ft...

so not sure is it the "sensitivy" of the sensor... maybe a little slope of the ground makes the sensor off alignment?
as for my crashing into the metal barricade... maybe because the metal barricade was metal bars and just so unluckily the sensor was detecting the "empty" space between the bars?

need sifu Daivd to help out on this.

hi guys I wonder if this shop is still available. I'm having problems with my reverse sensor speaker and central locking and I want to try to go direct to Audiovox. I will try to call them later today.

Those with the contact person, is it still available?
