Hi everyone!
Long time not chat here.. Laughing taliking bout the tyre and rims, yesterday my journey to Senawang with 2 adult at the back and full seat at the front.I cannot tahan anymore with my 10 months old accent, my car always get bouncy and cant " mark" the road accurately ..i dunno what to lagi...is it because of my "wide" 195/55 tyre??? i dont have all this previously when use the stock ones!!..
suppose when we use the 195 tyre we get more stability on the road..or my absorber going to "kong"??? if the reason because of that, maybe because the cikai rims(heavy some more) and 195 tyre make my car not stabil or it can damage my absorber/coil spring?? is it any way than change back the tyre or rims to the light one??
any expert can help me on this matters?? Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Me using 15", 195/55/15, no problem with full load. You have to use rims that are having an offset same or close to the original 38/40mm. Otherwise, it will hit the fender side. I'm using light weight rim, that also makes a lot of differences in terms of pickup and handling. Cheap 15" rims are quite heavy and will affect your FC and and handling.

Me too, stock 15" rims and tyre! No problem so far cos driving like turtle when drive over a bump. Afraid will scratch the bodykit, still new mah, WPP XXXX Very Happy

My problem of 15" rims is high FC. after 1st service but full tank can go less than 400KM (6/4, City/Hway drive)

FC will improve after 1st and 2nd service. be patient.

if you fear 15" can hit the fender, then perhap you might consider to down-grade it to 14" rim. then wont hit the fender anymore plus save fuel. Wink

I don't know where to post so I post it right here. Is the stock Rim of Getz is same as our Accent in term of dimension, weight and offset? I like the design. Thinking to find one.

hello every one.

I bought accent 1.5A hatchback on 2006.
Last year (august i think ) i change my tyres and rim to 195/55/R15.. got problem when full load.. 3 adult at backseat. When take cornering tyre hit fender at joint body
with back bumper ( have screw one ).
If 2 adult at the back, when driving on bumping road, sometime same problem happen.

I already ask at tyre shop if i change spring can solve or not. They said cannot must "ketuk" or change to 185 tyre.

Any idea where can i find "Ketuk Body Shop" that can do it ? Very Happy

Kajang & Bangi area.

Thank You.

i've heard the same prob as well. change ur tyres to 195/50/r15 or go ketuk the mudguard. most shops in seri kembangan can do for u, why not try the bridgestone tyre near macy building. they can bring u recommend a workshop nearby there.
cheers Very Happy
