I think Hup Shun gives the best deal, RM1,150 including installation and wheel alignment. Cool

Kakimotor - RM1,200 w/out alignment
Racing Fit - RM1,050 w/out installation and alignment

Honestly speaking, ayam not expecting much, just hope that Eibach can REDUCE the sampan feeling. I think to eliminate the sampan feeling, have to change BOTH springs + abs or get a good coilover set. Twisted Evil

Nvm, lar. Try this low budget mod 1st, maybe already good enuff for me, leh? Wink

Err... Rolling Eyes

Reduced ride height...good. Dancing
Reduced fender-well clearance...nice. Cool
Reduced body roll on cornering...sweet. Twisted Evil

'Sampan' feeling has reduced a little bit too. Neutral

But, still nowhere near the stiff and solid Honda Jazz/City ride quality that ayam looking for...what went wrong? Where's the missing piece of the puzzle? Crying or Very sad Brick wall
Hope that it will feel 'different' some time later, after the springs have settled in. Think

i've tried this, not good. too bumpy at the back of my LC.

probably will work with your MC? remember, the key to ride comfort is in the absorbers...

ropai, have U drive/sit in a previous gen City/Jazz? How would you describe the ride? Soft? Hard? Bumpy? Bouncy?
Actually I like the suspension feeling of the previous gen City. Absorbs road imperfections very well. But some feel that it's too bumpy. Wish to make my Accent ride feel like that.

chkwong, U have both City and Accent LC 1.5, and U've tested Accent MC 1.6 too. Could U gimme your analysis of the suspension of them? Very Happy

city vtec prev generation was quite bumpy and stiff. i-dsi was softer, but i never drove them - only ride as front and back seat passenger.

there's no way to know for sure until you try it, because the manufacturers will discourage inter-model swap like this due to legal and profit reasons.

i think you should have a try first DannyK, be our white mice?
Very Happy maybe just the rear first?

ropai, I just looked at Ultra Racing (the famous manufacturer of strut/anti-roll bars) website. Kia Rio 1.4 and Hyundai Accent/Verna 1.6, all the bars for each of them have the SAME product ID code!

yup, just like eibach makes the same spring for both car...

Dannyk, thanks for the offer.....
I also changed my mind about springs.
Why these prob happen to guy like us? or maybe another person who drove accent like stock suspension mode. I saw you are very struggling in searching the best suspension mode. Money no prob bro. But how come only 1 week installed the new spring you decide to sold?
