depend to your needs. in theory, the more u open open, the more respond of the car in pickup... but cant open to max.
normally i just open slightly a bit... and then use my hand to close the incoming air inlet... to see how strong the air being suck in. if sufficient strong, then is enough.
so far, i already turn off my MC due traffic jam and city driving. so no point driving with MC on... high FC. but is good to turn it on when driving in highway. |

Hi guy,
I was using the micro compressor about one and a half year ago. It was originated from KBSC. My one come together with the magnet also. I have been monitoring my fc for half a year but don't really see significant improvement. Have removed and give to my brother getz 1.3. Also no significant improvement. Recently come across a Spec R magazine which advertised a MC from US. The content seem interesting as they claim that their are "Originate Inventor". Just do some sharing of info here.

Have anyone come across this kind of MC at KL? |

KBSC gave two type of MC... one is for sonata version - over 2.0cc and another one is for smaller cc like accent.
currently mine is using sonata version. KBSC gave me wrong MC. From what I know, MC give you better performance in pickup, thus wont give you better FC. so dont hope so much of giving you good FC.
so far, outside market, i've seem many type of MC... almost all is similar and claim save FC... but i guess still the same. where got one product gain power in pickup and consume less fuel? |

I do agree. That why I believe if the said gadget is good, the car marker already install for better competition. Well, some of the gadget/fluid could work especially the old car to revitalize the engine. New car like us should not significant different. Better don't waste money. |

Think either us or KB has slight misconception on the FC stuff.
The ideal of MC is that the air is compressed before in was passed into the engine, then the fuel (more then usual) is mixed to create the right fuel-air ration before it was combusted (and provide power) to our car.
So in that sence, the fuel consumption will increase with each combustion of within the engine. But the trick is that each combusion push you slightly further.
In effect, it doesn't push you any further (means no FC gain), it just make your car to accelerate faster when you need to. That in some way help in FC cause instead of flooring the padel, you need to ped less in order obtain the same acceleration.
For me, you have MC, the best way you can gain FC is accelerate fast, then let off the gas and let the car "cruise". When it is slow, accelerate again...... Save fuel, but the driving experience will be absolute SHIT |
