i was thinking that in the past hyundai used to rebadge mitsu cars......
so they should have the knowledge of mitsu tech to apply to modern hyundai cars like our accent ( rally proven )

i was thinking of slapping a 4g63 from evo 4 into my accent gti......
not that the original engine is not poweful.
just that for fun la ~

shifu
please help

If you hunger for perfomance then you can do a bit add-on to to your car. I believe our accent can keep up with vios if you have the correct perfomance modification.

But remember, perfomance and fuel consumption wont come together...

It depends on what you need. I prefer balance modification for FC and Performance. K&N is not in my list cause it worsen your FC but brings better performance.

aiyooo....why u take a hyundai if u want it to be fast and furious....(budget problem..for surelah)..when i first bought my accents...i almost think it will be the subaru look a like only...but some said like EVO in back...and front like subaru...only a look maa...performance..how 1.5 can beat 2.0 only if u add turbo performance kits... special for hyundai...(NEVER TRY AND ASK, ONLY LOOK FROM INtERNET FROM OVERSEAS MODEL)...but how about safety...our manufacturer..design the body follow the engine power... betul ker...if u change into more powerful engine..you have to change your safety aspect also..(add. safety bar..ABS)...than which more important...power or life....

for me.... hyundai is HYUNDAI...minor modif...oklah....

NOrmally ppl wont waste that kind of money to do an engine transplant especially in new car. A bit modification is for fun la like pick up power and gear response. What Komeng said is true la, Hyundai is Hyundai. Dun compare with others car if you already owned one.

but hey, no harm in asking, if you can get to do the transplant, at least we all can get to know more choices of what we can do to our car, so....good luck.
