There are some members asked me how to do a cold air intake for their car, here is the simple cold air intake setup.

What you need:

1. K&N drop in filter
2. 3" industrial high temperature grade hose
3. 2 pcs of strong metal adjustable clips
4. 1 pc of colorful air funnel

Installation steps:

1. Measure the distance from stock air box to the location you wish to air duct in.
2. Cut the hose accordingly, make sure the finishing is nice on both ends
3. Adapt the adjustable clips both end. One side to the air box, another side to the air funnel.
4. Adjust the hose to the location of cold air intake and secure it using the hose rings
5. Change the stock air filter to K&N rewashable performance air filter.
6. Reset battery to adapt new cold air intake reading.

Here is the video clip sound during air intake after the change, as you could turn up your speaker, the air intake sound is stronger before, letting your throttle body breathe easier.

David, just curious, i look into proton air filter hose is being put in front of the nose grill, so cold air is sucked in when the car is moving, but our accent is not, so we have to do our own CAI, is there a reason?
