i suggest you turn off the alarm for a few days (using the small key underneath dashboard).

if you do not encounter the starting problem again, then maybe it's time for a replacement alarm unit.

Changed mine some time ago. Less than RM 500 all in, few belts changed. Fan, alternator, timing belts + bearings.

i called oasaga puchong, they quote me 1.1K+ to change timing belt and engine oil, ...

there's no way to know for sure until you try it, because the manufacturers will discourage inter-model swap like this due to legal and profit reasons.

yup, confirmed my suspicion.

i still dont trust the ron92 they sell. could be dirty or dont have the same cleaning additives as ron97. again, it's a matter of personal opinion and trust.
